Welcome to the website of the New England Renaissance Conference (NERC).

Founded in 1939, the NERC is the oldest scholarly association in the United States to focus on  Renaissance Studies. The NERC holds an annual conference each autumn as well as sponsoring occasional panels at the RSA annual meeting each spring. All scholars of the Renaissance period are welcome to be members of the NERC. To learn more about the history, mission, archives, and officers of the NERC, please click on the links above.
